Mid-Year Reports: Live in Week 11
- Reports will contain the following information in Reading, Writing and Maths:
- A narrative about your child’s learning (what they can do)
- Next steps
- How you can help at home
- A progress descriptor describing your child’s current ability to work within their year level content.
- Sliders for each element of Reading and Writing, and each strand in Maths. If a dot is missing from a slider, that particular element or strand has not been taught yet.
- A graph which will track progress over time.
- Your child’s māku e whakatika | It starts with me comment will appear both on their learning page and in the mid-year report.
- At mid-year, the Informed Decision is made based on curriculum coverage to date.
- Students in Year 1 (who have been at school longer than 6 months) and students in Years 2-8 will receive their mid-year reports in Week 11 of Term 2.
- Students in Teretere will receive their first report a few weeks after they have completed 20 weeks (6 months) of schooling.
