Connect Communication

19th May 2021

Kia ora e te whānau,

Week three is here and the term is well underway with lots of exciting activities for our tamariki. We recently participated in a combined cross country at Broadfield domain. Thanks to Hinehau and Blair and all our children who tried so hard. You will have been informed if your child is heading to the Lincoln Zone cross country at the Halswell Quarry.

It has been wonderful celebrating kindness in our recent hui. Children who have been spotted being kind are gifted a kindness card. They then keep an eye out for kindness in the following week and pay the card forward. It lovely to see our kind children acknowledged.

You will soon spot our safety team out and about spotting children wearing vests and helping man the kiss and go area. A plea; the kiss and go area IS NOT for parking. You need to pull and out of this area quickly. If it suits you to use this area please consider coming at 3:05pm. Your child will then be out of class and ready for you to pull in and pick up. We need to keep this area flowing smoothly.
